Lotus Biscoff Baked Apples
Originally featured in our 2012 Holiday Gift catalog, use this recipe for your next holiday party! Sweet baked apples complement the spicy and crunchy
Lotus Biscoff cookie crumbles.
-8 Apples, cored
-2 Lemons or Lemon Juice
-2 tablespoons butter
-1/2 cup oat flour or quick oats
-1/4 cup (30 grams) chopped toasted Walnuts
-4 dried dates, pitted and chopped into small pieces
-Pinch of fine salt
-1 Tbs ground cinnamon
-1/4 cup heavy cream
Lotus Biscoff Crumbles (150 gram/5.3 oz)
-1 can or tub of whipped cream
-Preheat oven to 350°F move rack to the center. Core the apples and squeeze lemon juice onto each cut apple.
-Melt butter in a pan, add oats, walnuts, dates, salt and cinnamon, stir until incorporated, add cream, stir again to mix. Stir in
Lotus Biscoff Crumbles.
-Stuff apples with mixture, place apples into muffin tins or baking dish. Cover loosely with foil.
-Bake for about 45 min or until apples have softened and slumped.
-To serve, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with more crumbles
